Praying God’s Word to Him, and It Won’t Return Void

Pray God’s Word Back To Him and It Won’t Return Void
The Lord Himself says, ‘remind Me…put Me in remembrance’ (Isaiah 43:26), so don’t underestimate this method and power of praying God’s Word back to Him (reminding Him of His promises). Pray with everything you’ve got believing that what you have prayed for, you will receive.

God Why are you avoiding me?

“God, are you avoiding me? Where are you when I need you? I have been asking for the Lord’s help for a long time but He is not answering me. Why has God not answered my prayers? Am I doing something wrong? Am I praying amiss? What’s the point having persistent faith if He won’t answer me anyway?”

Does that sound familiar?
Do you know that He may have answered you already but you refused to listen? God answers in three ways: Yes, No, Not now. Often we don’t like the last two. We want a YES all the time even when it may be bad for us. Which father would give his child a snake if he asks for fish or which one would give his child a stone if he asks for bread?(Luke 11:11-12)

Israel wanted a king (1 Samuel 8) and kept demanding. Through Samuel, God told them that this king would not be good for them and many bad things would happen but they didn’t listen. Samuel informed them: “If you have a king ruling over you, this is what he will do: He will take your sons… He will take your daughters… He will take your best fields… He will take one-tenth of your grain and grapes…He will take…” (1 Samuel 8:10-18). The king will take and take and take. Definitely not what was good for them.

They were forewarned that having a king wasn’t going to be good for them, but they still wanted it. God answered them and gave them Saul. In the end, it happened as it was foretold (1 Samuel 14:52; 22:7).

It’s very disastrous to walk outside God’s will – running around in circles, wasted years, regrets, heartache, fear, no peace of mind…Can you handle that? Beloved,“If you hear God speak today, don’t be stubborn” (Hebrews 4:7 GW).
