During his teen years, Dr. Boone’s Mother, the late Pastor Shirley J. Nicholson, Founder of Abundant Life Community Christian Church was determined to see her son walking with the Lord. After anointing and praying over every inch of her home, Pastor Nicholson announced that “Jeffrey” would go to church on Friday night instead of going to a party.
However, Pastor Boone devised a plan that, if he went, it would only be to embarrass his mother so bad that she would never invite him to go to church ever again. But God had another plan in mind for that was the night that Jeffrey James Boone, Sr. gave his life to the Lord and he has never looked back. The Lord is impressive: for his mother’s prayers had been answered. Pastor Jeffrey James Boone, Sr., lives in Hyattsville, MD with his beautiful wife, First Lady Michelle Boone. Collectively, they have four sons, a granddaughter, and a grandson.

Dr. Jeffrey J. Boone’s mission is being the best he can be for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and winning millions of souls to Christ before the Rapture. Pastor Boone’s vision for the greater body and membership of Abundant Life Community Christian Church is bringing people to Jesus Christ through membership in the family of God and developing them in Christ-like maturity. Also, equipping them for their life’s ministry in the church and in the world. Finally, to magnify God through the name of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is Dr. Boone’s guiding-light, best friend, and confidant.

Once in 2006, Dr. Boone was praying to take Abundant Life Community Christian Church to the next level of growth. The Lord spoke to his spirit in a way that surprised and challenged him. The Lord’s response was, “If you want the Church to go to the next level, you must first go to the next level”.
Following this spiritual direction, Dr. Boone enrolled at Liberty University to complete his doctoral degree. One goal was being better, brighter, and bolder for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through this personal challenge; collectively, 28 members of Abundant Life Community Christian Church and family members have returned to college. Some have completed or are pursuing college degrees.
